Community Benefit Sharing Program As a leading renewable energy developer, Pacific Blue is committed to giving back to the communities that host our clean energy projects with positive and lasting social, environmental and economic benefits. Our Community Benefit Sharing Program is the key component of Pacific Blue’s community support strategy. An Australian wind industry first, the Program shares the benefits of our renewable energy projects with the communities that host them. Since its launch, the program has provided more than $5 million to over 1000 local projects across regional Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Giving back to the communities where we work Home Hill Tennis Association Since 2019 Pacific Blue has proudly provided more than $460,000 in funding to 76 local projects in North Queensland’s Burdekin region through the Haughton Sustainable Community Fund. It’s how we’re working to empower sustainable and resilient communities in regional Australia. In July 2024 we were excited to announce 12 initiatives that we’re funding to make a difference — like installing new solar panels at the Home Hill Tennis Association’s club so they can keep costs down and keep serving their community. Ayr Surf Life Saving Club The Haughton Sustainable Communities Fund shares the benefits of our solar farm in North Queensland with local groups and not-for-profits in the region each year. Funding local initiatives that make a difference is how we give back to the communities where we work. In 2024, we’re helping the Ayr Surf Life Saving Club pay for upgrades to their facilities, so they can focus on saving lives. Home Hill Choral Society Regional communities matter. That’s why Pacific Blue is committed to supporting the communities that host our clean energy assets through our Sustainable Community Fund Program. We fund initiatives with positive and lasting social, environmental, and economic benefits that support and strengthen the communities where we work. At Home Hill in North Queensland, we’re sharing the benefits of our nearby Haughton Solar Farm by helping the Home Hill Choral Society keep singing.
