The recognition follows Pacific Blue’s participation in the Diversity Council of Australia’s annual Inclusive Employer Index Survey, which measures employee diversity and inclusion experiences in the workplace.

The survey captured Pacific Blue's high rate of employee participation and a whole-of-organisation commitment to fostering a safe, supportive workplace where people thrive, and recognises Pacific Blue has a higher level of Diversity and Inclusion compared to the Australian workforce.

Domenic Capomolla, Chief Executive Officer Pacific Blue, said the Inclusive Employer status was aligned with the business’ mission to ‘Leave the world a better place’.

"We genuinely believe that 'we are better together’, and, having been in the energy industry for more than 25 years, it’s the rich diversity and experience that our people have that continues to move us forward,” he said.

“We are proud to be recognised not just for what we do, but for how we go about it – that is, our commitment to diversity and inclusion. To us, it’s more than just a statement, it’s the way we do things, and we appreciate this is a continuous journey to create a respectful, safe and supportive workplace.”
